In 2014, Dutch MP Pieter Omtzigt sent a letter (partly written by John Christmas) to Eurostat requesting for Latvia to correct its national debt disclosure.
Eurostat replied that it will not because it agreed to keep Latvia’s national debt ‘confidential.’
